No - Naturopathic and Conventional medicine complement each other. NDs refer to medical doctors when needed.

You would need to check with your provider to see what type of coverage they offer.

 

How much does it cost? +

How long are visits? +

Initial visits are 60 minutes long. Follow up visits are usually 30 minutes. You have the option of booking 15 minute or 45 minute follow ups if you feel your health concerns require less or more time.

 

Are the supplements you prescribe covered by my extended medical? +

It depends on your coverage, however most plans do not cover supplements. You can collect your bills and claim them as a medical expense on your income tax.

 

How do I prepare for my first visit? What can I expect? +

As a new patient, please complete the online intake forms prior to the appointment to maximize your visit time. Providing me with your complete medical background helps guide your customized naturopathic treatment plan.

If for any reason you are unable to fill out the forms prior to your appointment, please arrive 20 minutes before to complete the forms. We ask you to bring in the following:

All prescription medications, non-prescription medications and natural health product information (name, dose, frequency, and reason for taking it)

Recent (within 12 months) lab tests and diagnostic imaging results Thank-you in advance for preparing for your first appointment with me. I look forward to helping you find your path to wellness by addressing your total health.
