How are you doing?

The past few months have been emotionally heavy for a lot of us. Know that I am here to support you however I can.  If you need someone to talk to, coping tools or supplements to help with stress management or mood please reach out.

Are you having a hard time turning off your thoughts?

A great exercise to help clear your mind is to practice something called a “brain dump”. Choose a time where you won’t be interrupted, often before bed works well.  Get some paper and a pen and simply write down everything and anything that comes to mind. Once your thoughts have been put to paper, it may be easier to let them go.

Oat straw tea is a great way to calm the nervous system.

Simply steep 1 bag or 1 teaspoon in a cup of boiled water for 15 minutes. Drink as often as you like.

Loose leaf oat straw is available at Tea Haus or Quarter Masters.  Bagged tea available at most health food stores.

Have you been able to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather?

Spending time in nature can be grounding and help adults and kids process big feelings.

Incorporating exercise also helps to release pent up energy and emotions.
